Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia and its organizers American Game Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions announced the transfer of events for 2020 in the light of the continuing pandemic COVID-19. G2E Asia will return to Venetian Macau 25 to 27 May 2021, and G2E Asia @ The Philippines will again gather at the Manila Marriott Hotel from 10 to 11 November 2021.

According to the press release, Josephin Lee, Chief Operational Director Reed Exhibitions China:

“G2E Asia has made a difficult decision to postpone its exhibitions 2020, since the continuation of the ban on travel and other restrictions create too much uncertainty for holding successful and safe events this year. Consulted with our customers, exhibitors and local authorities, we studied all the opportunities for the safe conduct of these programs this year, but ultimately came to the conclusion that the best way to action is to postpone until 2021 “.

According to him, the shift of the accent for 2021 can ensure that high expectations for these important events will be justified, which the organizers share with respected visitors and exhibitors. Also, this delay will facilitate the preparation for the exhibition for all G2E stakeholders and will allow the organizers to focus on the safest and most successful G2E ASIA events in 2021.
